Nurturing the sense of simplicity. Taking inspiration from artists such as Joseph Beuys and Cy Twombly, this exhibition celebrates the act of documenting life. Taking snapshots, jotting notes, collecting mementos and scribbling thoughts become the evidence of our personal stories.

Since graduating these five artists have reached a new phase of transition as they formulate their futures. Acknowledging a shared sense of time and place, they came together to celebrate their continuing art practice and relationship to Mid Wales.

The Ceredigion Art Trail has been created by a group of over 100 local artists.  They have worked together to run a series of art events, running from Saturday 17 August to Sunday 1 September at 65 venues across the county.  These events include open studios, exhibitions, ‘pop up’ galleries in unexpected places, e.g. chapels, shops, cafes, pubs, open spaces etc.  There are many types of art on the Trail, there really is something for everyone and the majority of venues are completely free.
